Meet the Wallflowers

Anne Wall

My mom is the creative heart of our studio! She’s spent her life helping people discover what they’re capable of. First with her three daughters, then as a 5th-grade teacher, and later as a college professor after earning her Doctorate of Education from Tennessee State University. Whether guiding kids or mentoring future educators she’s always found joy in watching that spark of curiosity grow into confidence.

When she retired, she finally gave herself permission to create purely for the joy of it, and mosaics quickly became her passion. What began as a simple hobby blossomed into something much bigger. Mom has since sold her work and received recognition at art festivals and showcases across Middle Tennessee.

Now she pours that same thoughtful precision and boundless curiosity into Wallflower Mosaic Company. And, true to form, she still offers the best advice in town “There are no shortcuts to any place worth going.”

Neely Wall

My daughter Neely has always had a gift for bringing order to chaos and making it beautiful in the process. She spent years working backstage on Broadway, wrangling costumes, quick changes, and all the moving pieces that make live theatre sparkle. Shows like AladdinMamma Mia!, and Rent taught her the magic of teamwork, timing, and a good sense of humor when things get wild.

When she shifted gears into the tech world, she brought that same mix of precision and creativity to helping people navigate complex systems. Whether she’s guiding someone through a new software platform or fine-tuning one of our mosaic kits, she has a knack for making the complicated feel easy.

At Wallflower Mosaic Company Neely is the glue (pun intended) that holds everything together. From designing our kits to  packing and shipping she keeps us on track with equal parts patience and wit.
